January
- record breaking first time not playing finals in indoor volleyball competition
(4th for IVP)
( just realised how lucky i am :P )
- last birthday before the big 2.
(not so much of a achievement)

- first time working at IT show

- first time playing rip curl beach competition

- received first gpa above 3
- un-happiest chalet ever

- first beach competition medal
(nebo 2nd runner up)

- first visit to chompchomp
- first time cooking dinner for my family
- first time making cheesecake
- attempt to conquer my fear of water by refreshing my memory on swimming and learn to "keep calm" with mingshi
- counting down with lots of ang mohs at holland village.

Resolutions for the YEAR 2009.

- take swimming as an exercise
- cook better than cooking mama
- IVP CHAMPION
( its now or never )
- have longer hair than ivan
- slimmer than ever!
- improve on volleyball!
( setting pro! :P )

dinner at some cafe in holland village.
bad experience.
noisy and rowdy.
practically had to shout before someone hears what i'm saying.
argh.
left as soon as we finished our meal.

wait till derek send me some of the photos from his phone.
then i'll post them up again.
so this is the photos i have from the cafe for now.

walked around for quite some time cos we couldnt decide where to go.
went to settler's cafe thats somewhat like mind's cafe.
but its all reserved.
and seats will only be available after 11pm.
lol?

soon after derek said he needed to leave cos he's going to his cousin's house for some vodkaaaaaa.
said bye and happy belated birthday and everything except happy new year.
cos we said if he got heart he will call us at 12!
and we settled down at a pub after derek left.

that is nic's friend.
that came to join us some time later.


11.35pm,
me and weiying walked to burger king to help her brother buy supper.
and on our way there.....................

and there were no shops near by and we were so far away from the pub!
lol.
thought about what to do for awhile.
throw off my pride.
take off my slippers.
and walk barefooted!
dig that!

an embarrassing but fun experience!
walking and hopping around bare footed on new year's eve in holland village!
on our way back to the pub there was one shop that's still open and waiting for the count down!
went in to get slippers.
18bucks for a slipper that looks like its worth 6bucks.
sad.
and the sales girl was telling us that we're going to miss the countdown if we dont hurry.
so i paid for the slippers and ran back with weiying!
just in time for the count down.
some of the pubs offered party hats and stuff!
ours didnt!
